Cap hops, cap tokens, cap URLs. Add timeouts.
Prompt soup.
Freeze prompts per version. Use deltas. Diff them like code.
No offline testset.
If you can’t reproduce a failure without the model, you’re doing vibes engineering.

The spicy bit: is this a Zapier/n8n killer?

Short answer: no, but it will eat the LLM-centric slice of automation where you used iPaaS as a proxy orchestrator. If your value prop is “we wired steps together,” the moat narrows. If your moat is data, domain logic, and operating maturity, you’ll accelerate.

My verdict

Agent Builder is the first credible “design → evaluate → ship” loop for serious AI workflows that most teams can adopt without hiring a platform squad. If you like systematic, process-oriented engineering and you want measurable outcomes fast, it’s the current default.

And yes: more evals than emojis. Always.
